Best State Park in PA in my opinion. Rent one of their rustic cabins. Venture to one of the most beautiful views in PA, The Canyon Vista. Then that night go to the High Knob Overlook and have the best stargazing experience ever.
One of Pennsylvania's many fantastic state parks! The trails are very well marked and campground is well maintained and clean. There many options for hiking trails, some of which intersect so you can choose how long or short to make your hike. Most of the hiking is steep and rocky so bring your hiking boots! Swimming is also an option at the day use area or in the creek (wear old sneakers or water shoes). Beautiful park - would definitely go again!

Great place to get out of the heat. There is a swimming hole. Places to hike, picnic tables and covered pavilions to eat. They also have cabins you can rent. There is also a seasonal snack shop down by the bridge and swimming hole.
Beautiful place to visit and be out in nature. I have gone here and went swimming in the stream and they have a man made Beach area and also areas to have a cook out so you can spend the day there.
